The app works offline for core learning. An internet connection may be needed occasionally to fetch the latest vocabulary content updates. Pronunciation playback (Text-to-Speech) is handled by your device's built-in engine and works offline.
Open the app → go to the Settings tab → scroll to the Notifications section → toggle off daily reminders. You can also manage notification permissions directly in your Android device settings under Apps → Daily Vocabulary → Notifications.
Make sure your device volume is turned up and your phone is not in silent mode. The app uses Android's built-in Text-to-Speech engine. If TTS is not working, go to Android Settings → General Management → Text-to-Speech and ensure a TTS engine (e.g. Google TTS) is installed and set as default.
No. All your data is stored locally on your device and persists across app updates. Only uninstalling the app will remove your local data.
Go to the Settings tab → scroll to the Level section → select up to 2 levels (Starter, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced). The practice session will then only show words matching your selected levels.
